How to get Pamomamo: use the “Send” function of the game and leave Pamamo for 1000 steps walk next to you. Unfortunately, you can’t see anywhere how many steps Pamamo walked with you. Just leave your partner alone around 10 minutes out of his Pokéball and running around on the overworld and that should do it.

Then Pamamo still has to go up a level (whether through battles or XP candies, but not in auto-combat on “Send Out”) and then you can watch it evolve into Pamomamo.
