Cosplayer shows off Samus Aran injured in battle and takes down Metroids with a bang

A pretty cosplay as Triss Merigold whiles away the wait for The Witcher Season 3.

Metroid Dread is considered one of the best games on the Nintendo Switch. That 2.5D space adventure even won the award in the category at the Game Awards 2021 Best Action-Adventure. Although many fans of the series are eagerly awaiting Metroid Prime 4, which was announced in 2017 as a first-person shooter, developers were able to Mercury Steam with Dread that convince critics and players alike with their game principle in the side view. Thanks to lots of black tones in the level design, Metroid Dread’s graphic style looks special the OLED version of the Nintendo Switch cropped.

In addition to the special graphic style with many black tones in the level design, this is also impressive novel look of the armor by Samus Aran. Similar to Metroid Fusion on the Game Boy Advance, the iconic red helmet with green visor is dominated by the turquoise accentuated shoulders and boots.

This design took itself an ambitious cosplayer to the role model. She planned and crafted it for two months Armor of Samus Aran from Metroid Dread. She recently presented the result of her work on social media.

The cosplay of loanedcash shows a Samus Aran, which apparently already some tough fights has behind. A scar can be seen on the right cheek. Blood runs from the nose and the corner of the mouth. The characteristic armor of the space fighter shows serious damage. It appears to have been torn open in places by huge claws. A reference to an argument with Ridley, the mortal enemy by Samus Aran?

Luckily Samus Aran seems to have emerged victorious. Her helmet, however, was probably lost. As loanedcash writes on Reddit, she has approx. 50 to 75 hours of work tucked into her outfit and round for it $200 invested in the material. A helmet she also wants to build her own in the future, but needs a 3D printer for this.
