God of War Ragnarök has an additional easy mode for mini bosses and this is how you activate it

Need a little extra help with mini-bosses? This attitude helps.

On your journey with Kratos and Atreus you will find in God of War Ragnarok very different opponents, some of them are easier to defeat, others more demanding. There are a total of five levels of difficulty so that you can adapt the experience to your preferences and needs. With the mini bosses you also have another setting option that can make your life much easier.

This is how you activate the handy setting for mini bosses

In addition to the difficulty settings, God of War Ragnarök also has a very comprehensive one Accessibility menu. There you can find all sorts of options that allow you to customize your gaming experience quite a bit.

That’s how it’s done: Some of the side bosses are among the toughest challenges in the game. If you can’t cope with them or simply want to experience less frustration, you should activate an option in the accessibility menu in addition to the lowest difficulty level (story mode), namely “mini boss checkpoints”. You can find the item under the “Combat” section.

What does this attitude bring? It’s simple: if it’s active, you can kill the boss in two stages. First you have to manage to subtract half of his life points. If this “milestone” is reached, you can start again from this point next time, with all your health, of course.

However, if you don’t reach the 50% mark, the setting will unfortunately not do you any good. You also always start at half the boss’s life bar, even if you take more life points from him.

By the way: If you are playing on the two highest levels of difficulty, you cannot select this option. However, you can now easily change the difficulty levels at any time after a bug that prevented this was fixed.
