PS Plus: Games in December 2022 – release, rumors and speculation

With an Essential subscription to PlayStation Plus, you get a few downloadable games for PS4 and PS5 each month at no extra cost. On MeinMMO we show you what the schedule for the PS Plus games looks like in December and what rumors are currently floating around in the community.

What is the schedule? Each month, the unveiling and the release are the same. The following dates are important:

• PS Plus: Games available from Tuesday 6th December 2022
  • According to experience around 12:00 noon
• Possible announcement: Wednesday, November 30, 2022
  • Unveiling of the games often around 5:30 p.m

However, the “announcement” in particular is not set in stone, the games could also be presented a little later or earlier. Experience has shown that the dates should fit.

PS Plus December 2022 – speculation and rumors

Which games could December come? There are currently no credible leaks for the new PS Plus. However, we asked around a bit in the community and introduce you to a few titles that could be possible candidates for games in PS Plus.

The Last Of Us

What are the pros? The new series “The Last of Us” will be released on HBO on January 15, 2023. Offering the first part for free on PS Plus would at least be one way to further increase interest in the series. Alternatively, The Last of Us could also appear for free on PS Plus in January.

Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order

What are the pros? EA has now announced the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for 2023. This should play 5 years after part 1 and should also require parts of the predecessor. A good opportunity for players to catch up on the action-adventure. It would therefore be a good option for PS Plus in December 2022.

Back For Blood

What are the pros? In the co-op shooter you slaughter your way through thousands of undead. In the meantime, the shooter has already received a number of DLCs.

With free access via PS Plus, you could expand the game’s player base even more and also bring gamers into the game who don’t know if Back For Blood is really something for them.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure

What are the pros? Sackboy: A Big Adventure is a 3D platformer where you have to save your friends. The multiplayer title was then presented as a crossgen game: PS4 and PS5 players could therefore play together.

A cult co-op title would therefore be a good addition for the cold season when you are sitting in front of your PS4 or PS5 alone or together with friends.

What does PS Plus Essential bring? The subscription is important if you want to use multiplayer on your PlayStation. Because few games open online mode without PS Plus.

In addition, you will regularly receive cosmetics or in-game currencies from various games and have an extra discount on some games. Keep checking the PS Store and checking out the PS Plus section so you don’t miss out on bonuses for games you find interesting.
