As always, Bungie has also announced detailed failure information for the maintenance work. We offer you this information in our article with the German times. This allows you to better plan your gaming day today.

All times at a glance:

  • The maintenance work in the background on all platforms starts as early as 4:00 p.m. German time.
  • From 5:00 p.m. the servers will go offline and you will be automatically kicked out of all activities.
  • The servers are supposed to go back online around 7:00 p.m. However, it is not known whether there will be an update with a download.
  • The maintenance work ends at 20:00.

Important: Even if you have loaded the potential update and are back in-game, you may still experience connection issues until the end of maintenance at 8:00 p.m. You may also have to expect queues when logging in.

Also, keep in mind that third-party applications and the official companion app may also not work properly for a while after the downtime.

With the server downtime, Bungie could already be making initial preparations for the start of the upcoming Season 19. It starts on December 6th and will change quite a bit in the abilities of the Guardians.

  • For example, Bungie will be adjusting the bonus base duration of the Enhanced Assault Grenade granted by Spark of Magnitude in Season 19.
  • The Void Hunter gets more differentiated Shadowshot Supers: Dead Trap and the Moebius Quiver. Here the binding anchor duration is changed.
  • Increased the damage against PvE fighters of some skills like Ballistic Impact, Arc Soul or Chain Lightning.
  • The Stasis Hunter and Stasis Warlock are given an additional fragment slot for Veil of Winter and Glacial Harvest.
  • such as further adjustments.

What exactly is planned for the small maintenance marathon has not yet been made known exactly. But there still seems to be problems in the dungeon “Duality”.

Current list of currently known issues:

  • Players can sometimes die when being transported to the Nightmare Realm in the Duality dungeon.
  • The seasonal launch cutscene may have extremely low framerates when viewed by players on the Epic Games Store.
  • Loading times on the tower continue to be slow. Guardians can switch to the HELM to circumvent this bug. Bounties can be purchased through the official Bungie App.
  • Player name changes are not customizable through bungie.net. Players are still waiting for the option to change their player name multiple times instead of just once.

If you encounter any other problems in the game, then the recommendation is to directly address them the official Bungie Help forum to report it to the developers as well.

Don’t forget to collect your rewards: Bungie has also informed its players that their earned but unclaimed retailer rewards from the previous Season 17 can only be claimed via the website until December 6th. This is about the “Previous Season Pass Rewards” page possible. Previous Season Pass rewards can only be claimed in Destiny 2 until the end of a subsequent Season. After that they are irretrievably lost.

Patch notes for update from 11/30. in Destiny 2

What’s in the patch notes? Should Bungie make an update, this could also mean the release of a hotfix. Traditionally, we get this information fairly quickly after the servers come back online.
