PlayStation Plus: These are the free games for December (Update)

December is fast approaching and with it the new games for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers. In the meantime, Sony has officially announced the games after a leak had previously appeared.

As in November, the first information about the December games came from the French website dealabs, more precisely by the user Billbil-Kun. He already knew several times in the past and again turned out to be a reliable source. In December, Sony confirmed in the PlayStationBlogplayers can again look forward to three games.

PS Plus Essential: These are the free games in December

The highlight of December is available for the PlayStation 4: The Mass Effect Legendary Edition is part of PlayStation Plus Essential. This is the optically a bit modernized complete package of the Mass Effect trilogy from Bioware including almost all DLCs. Only the multiplayer content of the third part is not on board. In the 4Players test, the Legendary Edition was able to impress at the time of release.

The second game in December is Biomutant, which will be released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The action role-playing game with an open game world comes from the developer studio Experiment 101 and has great ambitions. Last but not least, PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers get Divine Knockout for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Released on December 6th, 2022, this is a Smash Bros. style brawler but with a twist: all the action takes place from the third-person perspective. Nevertheless, you remain true to the basic game principle, which is about getting your opponents out of the arena.

All three free games for PlayStation Plus Essential will be available from December 6, 2022. You then have until January 2, 2023 to activate the games for your user account. In the meantime, by the way, you can still secure the games from November 2022, where Nioh 2, among other things, is waiting for you.
