The worst glitch in Warzone history is back – Guarantees easy wins for players

In Call of Duty: Warzone 2, a handful of glitches and bugs are currently up to mischief. The developers have now intervened and nerfed a glitch in DMZ mode, making it unattractive for players. But a new exploit affects the Warzone and it’s damn bad.

What is this exploit? Due to a glitch, some players have managed to increase the durability of their gas masks in the war zone. This allows them to stay in the danger zone indefinitely – the gas won’t harm them.

Players using this exploit can hide anywhere in the gas cloud. Your gas mask will last for several minutes and sooner or later the gas will kill all other players. Players who use this exploit win without doing anything themselves.

Is the exploit new? No, this exploit is actually an old acquaintance. There was already a similar bug in the first Warzone of Call of Duty (2019). At that time, the developers had to intervene several times before they got the error under control. However, it is the first time that this error also appears in Warzone 2. Apparently, players could now replicate this exploit in both solo and group play.

How common are these glitches? In the last few days, reports of glitches and exploits in Warzone 2 have increased. So there were orders that rewarded players with far too many experience points. Other players have managed to generate large sums of cash in DMZ mode.

Bugs and problems at launch

How is Infinity Ward reacting? The gas mask glitch is extremely damaging to the warzone. If a player uses this exploit in your match, you are effectively powerless and unable to legitimately win the round. This is a real problem for the Warzone and as such fixing the exploit should be high on Activision’s agenda.

Many players are currently dissatisfied with Call of Duty’s update policy. They criticize the communication of the developers. Things are often changed in the Battle Royale without the developers notifying them.

What do the players criticize? There are sometimes heated discussions in the community as to whether the creators of CoD would set the right priorities.

Accordingly, only those errors would be removed that ensure that players have to invest less time in the weapon grind. Dev errors, other crashes and the gas mask glitch, on the other hand, were well known to the developers, but it would take too long to finally fix them.
