WoW: Community is in love with a dwarf and his story

If you look at the mood around the new expansion on social media and in the forums shortly after the start of WoW: Dragonflight, you can read a lot about dragon riding, new class abilities and … a very special NPC that the community has taken to heart. On the Awakening Shore, by the Ruby Lifeshrine sits a dragon named Veritistrasz in his dwarf form and looks into the vastness of the dragon islands.

The dwarf has a quest ready for you if you’re willing to chat with him. You can get up and leave at any time during the conversation. But the conversation is not only worthwhile because of the 50 reputation reward points and the follow-up quest. Just chat with an NPC and listen to his story… for many players, the relaxed quest with Veritistrasz seems to represent what they want in WoW (buy now ) have wanted back for a long time: Just a bit of role-playing and deceleration from the previous WoW everyday life, in which the player is a superhero and has to save Azeroth from the umpteenth cosmic threat. As you can see from the reactions of the players on social media and Reddit, they have fallen a little in love with the dwarf NPC, some even speak his story from the soul.
