Microsoft has come up with something so that you are not the only ones who are nice and warm when playing on the Xbox with a blanket and woolen socks. This year you can purchase a hoodie for your Xbox controller. No joke.

The coolest controller in the hood

“It’s that time of the year when you want to make yourself comfortable with a nice hooded jacket,” Microsoft writes on the product page and is absolutely right – at least for me!

One could rather question the following sentence with a raised eyebrow: “With the mini controller hoody, your controllers won’t feel left out this winter.”

Smaller than a kid’s sweater, this garment is designed to keep your controller warm. It’s made entirely of polyester and fits any Xbox Series controller. The design in black or white with the subtle honeycomb pattern and green lining fits perfectly with Xbox and offers a zipper and small armholes for the two ergonomic handles of the controller.

The hood remains empty and the warm top doesn’t seem to be particularly practical either, because you have to drop the soft cover of your controller again to play. After all, the Xbox logo is emblazoned on the back of the gamepad.

For 24.95 euros this cute funny little hoodie is yours. At least you can already pre-order it now. The first mode for Xbox controllers will only be delivered between February and March – when winter is almost over and your gamepad is half frozen.

Nevertheless, Microsoft has really thought about how its hardware will fare in the cold winter. Now all that is missing is a Santa hat for the Xbox Series X and the dark season is perfect.
