Blood Bowl 3 Seasonal System and Post-Release Updates – News

NACON and Cyanide have new post-launch content yesterday for the February one Blood Bowl 3 announced. The game, which is to be geared more towards the customization of the board game than before, is being given a season system for the first time. With the optionally available Blood Pass, you immediately unlock a faction at the start of the season. A season runs for three months. In addition to a new faction, each season also receives an extensive update. If you don’t purchase the Blood Pass, you can work your way up 50 tiers and unlock all cosmetic items and eventually the new faction for free. With the Blood Pass you get a bonus for every level you earn. The community was heavily involved in the development of Blood Bowl 3, including in several beta phases. Even after the release, a team will continue to work on improvements, balancing and new content. At the start, Blood Bowl 3 already contains twelve factions. Earnable and purchasable content is purely cosmetic. In the competition mode there is a leaderboard so that you can compete against players of similar strength. There will also be a tournament and league system.

Blood Bowl 3 will be released on February 23, 2023 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Playstation 4 and Playstation 5. A version for the Nintendo Switch will follow later.
