Harrison Ford is digitally rejuvenated

If you take a closer look at the scenes shown, you will see one amazing younger indy than last in memory. That’s because they grabbed a little from their bag of tricks and the 80-year-old title hero by means of CGI technique one makeover has undergone.

Since the film probably also goes back a little in time and revive old scenes Indy’s appearance had to be adapted to the well-known passages in some of the newly shot scenes. The technical special effects to a completely new level elevated.

The experts from Lucasfilm’s ILM have taken old archive footage of Harrison Ford’s Indy and combined it with current footage. Harrison Ford himself said:

“This is the first time I’ve seen something like this and it looks believable. I don’t think I want to know how it works, but it works. But that doesn’t make me long for my youth again. I’m glad I earned my old age.”

But fear not, we probably won’t get to see an “indie junior” the entire time in the film, affirmed director James Mangold, who Harrison Ford’s current age duly incorporated into the film. We can be curious to see whether he managed the balancing act in the end.
