Seriously, this game comes from the designer of Zelda: Breath of the Wild?

Link and Zelda ride their giant birds in Skyward Sword.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will stay in the memory of many players for its beautiful visuals and fun gameplay. So it’s not too surprising that other games are taking inspiration from the Breath of the Wilds formula. The most famous title here is probably Genshin Impact. While this game offers a completely different gameplay experience to the popular Nintendo title, it was the general world and climbing mechanics in particular that made players compare Genshin Impact to Breath of the Wild early on.

The new game from the Breath of the Wild designer is all about clothes

The latest game that draws inspiration from Breath of the Wild is called Infinity Nikki. The developers describe their game as an “open-world dress-up adventure game”. Players compete in an open world inspired by Breath of the Wild, in which the protagonist’s abilities are tied to the various outfits that players must craft themselves. Some of the costumes are also purely cosmetic and the aim of the game, so to speak, is to match the different ones to create legendary garmentsfor which players must visit various locations.

If you take a closer look at the developers responsible for Infinity Nikki, it quickly becomes clear where this Breath of the Wild influence actually comes from. The game is produced by Kentaro Tominaga, who previously worked as a designer for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (buy now €105.30 ) and worked as a director for its Expansion Pass. We can already see a few small gameplay scenes in the accompanying trailer, but for the most part we are only introduced to the world and some of the characters.
