New season starts today – when will the game be online again?
The new Chapter 4 begins in Fortnite. After the live event on December 3rd, players are waiting for the new season to begin – all at downtime.
Cary, North Carolina – The servers will be offline for a period of time between chapters of Fortnite. With Chapter 4 launching, fans are waiting for the servers to come back online. Epic Games has not yet revealed exactly when it will start again. There’s no other choice but to wait for Chapter 4 to start in Fortnite, we’ll show you everything about the new Chapter and when the Fortnite servers could go back online.

Fortnite Chapter 4: Server Status – When will you be able to play Fortnite again?
When is Fortnite going again? Nobody can really say so far. The Fortnite servers are offline and you can’t get into the game. Only Epic Games can say exactly when it will start again – but the channels on the social networks are quiet. The servers usually go back online in the morning hours, so the Fortnite servers can be reached again by 12 noon.
The downtime shouldn’t be longer than 12 hours, so it should actually start at 11 a.m. at the latest.
Epic Games surprisingly announced the early start of Chapter 4, so it’s unclear whether the usual time windows can be met – but actually there shouldn’t be anything against it. We will update you as soon as we know more about the Fortnite server status or Chapter 4 is up.
What’s new in Fortnite Chapter 4? As usual when a new chapter starts, there are a lot of changes to the map, dozens of new weapons and skins and also a new Battle Pass. MrBeast is getting a skin in Fortnite, and it’s far from the craziest outfit. Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia, the Doomslayer from DOOM and Geralt von Rivia from Witcher 3 are also there. On the Fortnite website many innovations are listed in Chapter 4.
When does Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 end? The new season should end on March 26th and bring the first major update in Chapter 4. This means that the first season lasts a total of 16 weeks. The Fortnite Chapter 3 ending live event was a huge success and you can watch replays of it on YouTube.
