The developers at From Software have announced via Twitter that the free Colosseum update is coming up on December 7th. In it, players can play duels and battles alone or together. Meanwhile, Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier expects an announcement for a complete DLC at the Game Awards.

Arguably one of the best games of 2022, the Elden Ring is getting a free update with new PvP content ahead of the Game Awards on December 8th. From Software could then announce a complete DLC at the Game Awards. At least that’s what industry expert and Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier assumes, as he announced on Twitter.

Also via Twitter, From Software confirmed the Colloseum update, in which players should be able to “prove their worth” in numerous battles and duels together or alone. The free update will be rolled out to all Elden Ring players tomorrow. Many will have entertained the thought that there could be a Colosseum-related update soon, as these structures have always been found in the Land Between.

However, these places have been closed and deserted so far. There are currently three colossuses that are expected to open their doors starting tomorrow. To give players a taste of what the Colloseum update has in store for them, From Software has provided a short one-minute trailer.
