Monster Hunter Rise: Game is available digital only for Xbox

Monster Hunter Rise will be released digital only on Xbox and PlayStation.

Monster Hunter Rise, an action role-playing game recently announced for Xbox and PlayStation, will be released on January 20, 2023 and will also be playable on console, cloud and PC via Xbox Game Pass from day one.

Anyone who would like to put the game in physical form on the Xbox shelf at home will probably be disappointed by the following news.

Capcom will not be releasing Monster Hunter Rise on disc. So fans can’t put a fancy case on the shelf because the game will only be distributed digitally, as confirmed to Gematsu.
