Today at 19 pm appears with Desert Fox the sixth expansion for WW2 round tactics Unity of Command 2. You take command of the German Afrika Korps, led by General Erwin Rommeland Italian allies.

After Italy’s Mediterranean ambitions failed, the Allies took the initiative. In order to prevent the Italian collapse, the Wehrmacht is sent to Greece and Libya. The new protagonist is General Erwin Rommel, whose troops you take over. The German Afrika Korps is a very mobile elite force. The supporting Italian divisions, while brave, suffer from poor leadership and are ill-equipped for mobile warfare. In order to defeat the Allies, you have to pull out all the stops, also in view of the poor supply situation and the mixed quality of the units.

Contrary to what the name of the expansion might suggest, you don’t only fight in Africa. In Operation Hercules from July 1942, for example, you must try to take Malta and thus secure the sea routes. Everything depends on how successful you are and whether you follow the historical path or one of the two alternative paths in the dynamic campaign.

Key Features of Desert Fox:

  • 25+ Axis scenarios in North Africa, East Africa, the Mediterranean and the Middle East
  • Historical Axis campaign from 1941 to 1943 and two possible alternative routes
  • new aircraft Savoia-Marchetti SM.82 and models for the Littorio class battleships
  • A new “Fliegerführer Afrika” map
  • a new music track by Bruno Babic

The price for Desert Fox is 9.75 euros. A game check for the basic game and Desert Fox is already in the starting blocks.
