Destiny 2: Xur Today – Location and Offer on 12/09

What happened in Destiny 2 this week? Bungie presented its new Season 19 earlier this week. It takes the Guardians back to the Seraph Bunker of the Warmind Rasputin. There they should help to reintegrate it before the crowd around Xivu Arath gains the upper hand. For this, Osiris, Ana Bray and the Guardians work voluntarily with the albeit brilliant, psychopath Clovis Bray.

In addition to the new story, there are of course also new weapons. An exotic weapon from Season 19 in particular was on everyone’s lips right at the beginning. The Revision Zero Pulse Rifle will have 4 Catalysts and will not be available immediately. It’s timegated, and to reach its full potential, keepers have to keep at it week after week.

The start of the season itself was commented on with mixed opinions from the players after the first impressions. While new guardians explore the content curiously, the well-known season model, the heavily overhauled PvP system and the partly recycled locations of the Seraph bunkers called out for the veterans Season of the Worthy resentment. But the Bungie boss himself let them know: “We have your feedback […] Heard loud and clear.” In 2023, they therefore want to “take more creative risks”.

The new Guardian Ranks and Neomuna Target Tracks are set to shake things up in Destiny 2 with the launch of the new DLC on February 28th, 2023.

New Dungeon Starts – Climb the Warden’s Pillar

There will be no Trials of Osiris or an Iron Banner this weekend. However, you won’t have to wait long in Season 19 before trying out the new Trials Sublime Truth handgun and Trials Unflinching Duty machine gun.

• Saint-14 is back with the Trials endgame as early as December 16, 2022, and he’s also bringing a remake of one of the most popular Trials armor sets.

When does the first Iron Banner start in Season 19? In the New Year, on January 3rd, 2023, Lord Saladin calls to the Iron Banner to introduce Stronghold. This is a mode about conquering and holding territory, much like zone control. Apparently, however, Lord Saladin also made a deal with the Cabal Empress Caiatl, who is sending in some Cabal turrets for added spice.

But before it’s keeper versus keeper again in Trials or Iron Banner, there’s a real icing on the cake in PvE. The brand new dungeon opens its doors today from 6 p.m. and invites you to the “pillar of the guardian”.
