Many Game Awards viewers must have asked themselves the same questions: who was the guy who snuck onto the stage with the developers of From Software and what did he want to convey with his confused speech?
What happened at the Game Awards? As the Game Awards drew to a close, as the developers from the studio behind Elden Ring, From Software, accepted their Game of the Year award, another non-studio person snuck onto the stage with them.
After game director Hidetaka Miyazaki finished his acceptance speech, the young man walked to the microphone, surprising both the awardees and the audience. The award ceremony was actually over, and the music was already playing, which is normally supposed to entice award winners to leave the stage.
