Diablo 4 pre-orderers get Open Beta access, but not all get Early Access for the full game

The Diablo 4 editions offer various benefits such as Early Access and the Battle Pass.

During The Game Awards 2022, the cat was finally let out of the bag and Diablo 4’s release date was revealed. According to this, the game opens its gates to hell on June 6, 2023 and lets us experience the drama between Inarius and Lilith.

Activision Blizzard presents us with the agony of choice and presents several editions of the game to choose between. On the shop page it becomes clear what the differences are between the editions and what advantages we get if we spend a little more money.

All editions of Diablo 4 at a glance

Open Beta for pre-orders: Everyone who pre-orders Diablo 4 gains access to the open beta. It doesn’t matter which platform. However, it is not yet known when the open beta will take place. But we already know that the open beta will run for at least two days. It is therefore reasonable to assume that the open beta will take place on a weekend that is a few weeks before the release on June 6, 2023.

What editions are there? Blizzard introduces four different editions that will be available for Diablo 4. There will be different content depending on which edition we choose in advance. For example, if you want to start a few days earlier thanks to Early Access, you have to pay more.

The Standard Edition is available in both the PS store as well as in Microsoft Store for 79.99 euros. The Digital Deluxe Edition, on the other hand, costs 99.99 euros, only the Ultimate Edition is more expensive at 109.99 euros. The latter two editions have the Battle Pass included.

Fourth edition without full version of Diablo 4

Wasn’t there four editions? In fact, Blizzard is also offering a fourth edition of Diablo 4, which will be available from the Blizzard Gear Store for $96.66. However, this differs significantly from the other editions. In contrast to the Standard, Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Edition, no copy of Diablo 4 is included.

The Limited Collector’s Box contains the following items:

• Candle of Creation
• Cloth map from Sanctuary
• Diablo 4 Collector’s Edition Art Book
• Occult Mousepad
• Pin of the Horadric
• Two 18.54″ x 10.79″ matt art prints

When will the CE box be available? The Collector’s Edition is scheduled to be available for pre-order on December 15, 2022 on the Blizzard Gear Store. The contents of the box are to be presented in more detail in a live stream. If you want to secure the box, you should be quick, because the crowd is loud press release limited to 50,000 pieces.
