Noctua Keycaps: For everyone who dares to use unusual colours

Noctua Keycaps: For everyone who dares to use unusual colours

from Andrew Link
After the screwdriver in Noctua colors, there are now keycaps. It works in cooperation with Drop, but there is no ISO-DE layout at the moment. However, the range is to be expanded, also with Chromax sets.

Noctua has always had the courage to be different, and the color combination makes it immediately clear what the user has installed. Fans in reddish brown and beige are clearly assigned and so are the accessories that are brought to the market. The other day they announced a screwdriver for 10 euros and now there are keycaps for mechanical keyboards. Drop was chosen as a partner. The keycaps designed by Mito in the MT3 or Cherry Classic profile are made of Doubleshot ABS and are compatible with Cherry MX switches and their compatible third-party switches.

The keycaps are currently being sold at a reduced price of 99 US dollars. The regular price is 130 US dollars. There is a matching cable for $75 and a matching keymat for $35. Various additional keycaps are sold for $35. Including the keys for the ISO UK layout. Unfortunately, German-speaking users are getting nothing at the moment. The users are satisfied: 50 ratings add up to 4.9 out of 5 stars. In the end, one can always argue about taste. There will also be a Chromax Edition; but that still takes time.

Only a few days ago, a screwdriver in the Noctua design was presented. These are the NM-SD1 for the star-shaped Torx 20 screws and the NM-SD2 with a Phillips tip for Phillips PH2 systems. These tips are compatible with Noctua’s own mounting systems Secufirm, Secufirm2 and Secufirm2+. Judging by the design, the screwdriver is produced in cooperation with the tool manufacturer Wera.
