Modern Warfare II Shipment, GamersRD

Activision launched the first free trial for the multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II from today Thursday.

Providing access to a limited portion of the game’s multiplayer offering, the free access period will begin on December 15 at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET.

During this period, users will be able to compete in Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, Domination, and Kill Confirmed modes, including third-person variants of each.

These modes will be playable on three maps. Farm 18 and The Asylum, which were released with the game, are medium-sized maps centered around a large central building. Shipment, which launched Wednesday as part of Modern Warfare 2’s Season 1 Reloaded update, offers a nautical take on the classic map by moving it from land to a cargo ship.

The Season 1 Reloaded update also included the first episode of Special Ops’ Raids and the first post-launch update for Warzone 2.

Continuing the story of the Modern Warfare 2 campaign, Raids are three-player cooperative challenges that combine stealth, intense combat, and puzzle-solving objectives.
