Officially Announced for PS5: A New Game Set in the Horizon Universe!

There have been a few in the past few weeks and months rumours about the future of the Horizon brand. These have now been through Guerrilla Games officially confirmed on Twitter, more precisely in a job advertisement. So the studio is currently looking for new forces for another single-player adventure around Aloy, as well as the one that has already appeared in rumors Online project on the Horizon brand. Thus, the franchise does not just grow by another single player title or the upcoming one VR gamebut also a multiplayer project.

Horizon Online: what awaits us?

Not much is officially known about the multiplayer project at the moment. The tweet explains that the game will feature a new cast of characters and a unique look and style. The world of Horizon should now also be explored together. There is currently no release window for the guerrilla project, at least not publicly.

In November we had already reported that for a Horizon MMO a partnership with the developer studio NCSoft received. However, NCSoft was not named a syllable in the announcement on Twitter. The MMO project should also not appear on consoles or the PC, from which one could conclude that a separate project could be in pre-production here. Guerrilla’s project, on the other hand, is said to be on the market for both the Playstation and the PC.
