Amazon: Warhammer 40K series planned with Henry Cavill

According to a new report, Amazon is planning a Warhammer 40K TV series starring and producing Henry Cavill.

According to a new report by The Hollywood Reporters Warhammer 40K could soon take off as an Amazon series. Henry Cavill, who is known to many as the former Geralt of Rivia and Superman actor, is planned as the main actor.

After months of negotiations, Amazon managed to outperform the competition and secure the rights to the game produced by Games Workshop. Who will be the writers and showrunners of the series is not yet known.

Production will be handled by Vertigo Entertainment, Henry Cavill, GAW employees Andy Smillie and Max Bottrill, and Amazon Studios.
