Super Mario Bros. Movie: Fan Trailer uses official N64 assets, among others
Youtuber and animator King Bob Gaming made fun of it and recreated the entire released trailer for the Super Mario movie using Nintendo 64 graphics. The video recreates the trailer almost frame by frame – all using authentic assets from Super Mario 64 and other official N64 assets. For example, the Youtuber used the 3D model of Donkey Kong from the N64 title Donkey Kong 64. However, he had to tinker here and there, and the lighting effects and other special effects are also not up to the N64 standard.
