Destiny 2 has been offline for hours – when can I play again?

Destiny 2 has had a very long server down for reasons that have not yet been explained. Bungie had to pull the plug on its servers and now many guardians are wondering when it will finally start and you can gamble again. We’ll tell you when you can.

When can I gamble again? While the Destiny 2 servers have continued since yesterday’s escapade with the missing Triumphs and Catalysts, many Guardians are wondering when it will finally continue.

The problem in Destiny 2 is more complex than expected

What happened? As we reported on the evening of the incident, the published Hotfix 6.3.0.5 leads to unexpected and serious problems. Many won triumphs, seals and catalysts disappeared from the keeper’s collections out of nowhere. Many could be collected again, but many also remained greyed out.

This fact forced the developers to surprisingly take the servers offline again indefinitely and investigate the problem at full speed.

While many guardians were now hoping that the servers would go back online in good time, Bungie was looking in vain for a bug fix.

In order to get the cart out of the woods, the team decided to prepare a rollback and overwrite the save from January 24th at 5:20 p.m. with the current one. In this way, all items and triumphs as well as seals received at this time can be saved.
