Great PS5 news spot could tease Uncharted 5
Those responsible for Sony are looking forward to 2023. In a new one Post on the official blog rejoice that they are finally able to meet the need for PlayStation 5 consoles. Anyone wanting to have a PS5 in their home should now have a much easier time finding it at retailers worldwide. Players from Germany (and other countries) can also purchase a PS5 console, games and accessories directly from Sony at direct.playstation.com. We, on the other hand, recently had success with the Digital Edition on Amazon ^^
Furthermore, Sony is pleased that the range of exclusive games is now impressive. God of War Ragnarök, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Gran Turismo 7, Horizon Forbidden West, Forspoken, Demon’s Souls Remake and Returnal have already been released. This year we are looking forward to games like Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Final Fantasy XVI, Hogwarts Legacy, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Resident Evil 4: Remake or Street Fighter 6 on the PlayStation 5 (buy now €695.00 ) to welcome. In addition, there is the PS VR2, which is accompanied by more than 30 games.
Live from PS5 with Uncharted teaser?
To celebrate what could be a strong year for PlayStation and the community, Sony officials have released an exciting Live from PS5 news spot. In less than a minute, numerous news channel-style live-action clips await you, in which all sorts of Sony titles are more or less creatively referenced. But see for yourself:
The clips for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Horizon or God of War: Ragnarök can be assigned quickly. The Esper fight in Japan, which reminds us of the release of Final Fantasy XVI on June 22, 2023, is wonderfully spectacular. But which game does the scene at second 43 belong to? It shows a young woman with a torch and backpack approaching a small altar in a cave on which an object lies. At 0:47 we see her carefully blowing dust off the container.
Young woman with pigtails searching for hidden treasures in caves? That sounds like Lara Croft, right? Multiple websites (such as VGC) speculate that we might see Cassie, daughter of Nathan Drake, here. In other words: Sony could tease Uncharted 5 here for the first time. Although Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann had stated that the studio would not be developing another Uncharted part, that does not mean that the successful IP is now idle forever. Indeed there was indications of this were already given last yearthat new teams will be formed to take care of the legacy of Uncharted.
Incidentally, the “Live from PS5” news campaign not only includes the video, but also all sorts of PR stunts. For example, a giant Leviathan ax has landed in London:
