The Overwatch 2 Defense Matrix has received an update! The promise: There are stream protection features and new actions against cheaters. Defense matrix update

  • Since Season 2, the developers have been using text-to-speech programs to successfully track down players who show disruptive behavior in voice chat. The caught players will be muted or suspended depending on the situation in chat.
  • The developers plan to soon introduce a new moderation technology that will automatically remove custom games that contain inappropriate titles or content behind the scenes. Additionally, players who create and publish such custom games will be subject to restrictions or account actions.
