February has already started and this month will also see the release of some new games.

Let’s take a closer look at what’s coming along in this. But all this without claiming completeness! If you’re looking forward to something else in February, feel free to write it in the comments.

What are you playing in February?

Several games have already been released right at the start of the new month. Among other things, you can finally play Football Manager 2023 from Sega and Sports Interactive on the PlayStation 5 after a delay.

The Nintendo Switch implementation of Life is Strange 2 is also available since yesterday. Not the best part of the series if you ask me, but if you like the familiar LiS gameplay, you can still enjoy it. Alternatively, you can explore the red planet in Deliver us Mars or shoot in the first-person shooter Fashion Police Squad (more on that shortly!).

Finally, on February 10, 2023, the long-awaited and controversially discussed Hogwarts Legacy will be released. The discussions about it will probably not die down anytime soon.

Originally released in 2020, Journey to the Savage Planet will also be available for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 on February 14, 2023. Likewise, Wanted: Dead is a bloody action game that will put you to the test with tough fights.

A day later, on February 15, 2023, the PC implementation of Housemarque’s once PS5-exclusive Returnal is on the program, as is the development game remake Pharaoh: A New Era. This will be followed by The Settlers: New Alliances, Tales of Symphonia Remastered and Monster Hunter Challenger Wild Hearts on February 17, 2023.

Atomic Heart, however, is often described as the Soviet BioShock and soon we will find out whether it can keep up with this role model in terms of quality. It will be released on February 21, 2023, along with Like a Dragon: Ishin.

February 22, 2023 is another special day for PlayStation, as PlayStation VR2 will be released on this day. And not only that, numerous games are appearing at the same time as the new VR headset. Horizon Call of the Mountain is new, while Gran Turismo 7 gets a VR upgrade.

It will be strategic, tactical and bloody a day later, which basically applies to both games: Blood Bowl 3 and Company of Heroes 3 will be released on February 23, 2023. If you own a Nintendo Switch, you can get the next day, on February 24 February 2023, Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe and Octopath Traveler 2. The latter also appears for PC, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

At the end of the month it’s back to science fiction. Destiny 2 will receive its latest expansion, Lightfall, on February 28, 2023, along with the action-adventure Scars Above.
