Horizon Forbidden West will only offer one ending, but you can also influence it
The end of Horizon Forbidden West is set. Nevertheless, you can adjust some nuances.
To promote the release of Horizon Forbidden West Games Narrative Director Benjamin McCaw gave the Italian website a stir Everyeye an interview about Guerrilla’s latest action-adventure. In it he reveals some exciting details about the game, including (spoiler-free) the end of the title.
The ending of Forbidden West is flexible
How many endings will there be? Even if we can influence the story itself by making some moral decisions, there will be no multiple endings. As in the previous Horizon Zero Dawn, there will only be one fixed ending in Forbidden West. McCaw describes it as “very strong and effective”.
However, it will be possible that you can exert a slight influence on the ending. McCaw was asked if you can choose the NPCs that accompany Aloy on her missions. He said no, but stressed the importance of companions:
For example, the time you spend with certain minor characters could have an impact on the flow of the story, albeit a small one. […] Forbidden West will have a single, very strong and impactful ending, but some nuances may change depending on which characters you gave space and attention to.

If you’re sensitive to spoilers, beware from now until the release of Horizon Forbidden West. Some players probably already own the PS4-Version and post first pictures on social media. It is not known where the users got the disk versions from.
When does Horizon Forbidden West appear? Guerrilla’s long-awaited action-adventure will finally be released on February 17, 2022 for PS4 and PS5.
