MultiVersus: Season 1 has been postponed until further notice

There is a delay in MultiVersus: As the team is now announcing, the first season of the fighting game will be delayed for the time being by an indefinite period. Morty’s arrival in the quirky cross-over brawl was also delayed postponed.

An official tweet from the studio read: “We know this may be disappointing for some and want to reassure our community that we are committed to delivering new and exciting content that players will love.”

According to the studio, they want to announce exactly when the season is to follow and when the younger protagonist from Rick and Morty will come into play.

Overall, MultiVersus has been a hit with many and has had surprisingly good numbers since launch, both on Steam PC and Steam Deck game ends.

So that makes the Smash Bros alternative very popular on the Switch alternative – two alternatives go hand in hand. On the Steam Deck, MultiVersus even led at number 1 ahead of games like Stray or Elden Ring.

The success in itself is perhaps no wonder, because the famous Warner version for Nintendo devices has already demonstrated that fighting games with wild characters work. MultiVersus now takes all those who would like to gamble on other platforms with them.
