Monster Hunter Rise: First free update with four new monsters

From now on, Monster Hunter Rise (from 30.59€ at buy) a free update ready. It brings new monsters aimed at experienced hunters who have master rank from level 10 onwards.

About a month after the release of the Sunbreak expansion for the Switch and PC monster hunt Monster Hunter Rise, Capcom is pushing the first free download as part of the updates already announced.

There are these new monsters

The first new monster made its debut in Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and harnesses the light of the moon. The Lucent Narcacuga is able to reflect the moonlight and thus become almost invisible. The second new monster isn’t such a slouch, as the Seething Bazelgeuse just keeps throwing its exploding scales at monster hunters.

Unlike the normal variant, this monster can rain down a whole barrage of dangerous projectiles. Connoisseurs know that fighting this monster variant also becomes particularly uncomfortable when it reaches aggro status and is then even more difficult to catch.

Beautiful but dangerous

The same applies to the old acquaintances, the newcomers Silver and Golden Rathalos, who are difficult to crack even for hardened hunters. These too now have a new status that allows them to hit even harder and faster. In addition, Capcom announces that the dragon veterans, like many other monsters from Rise, have new attack maneuvers and new animations associated with them. Of course, all four newcomers also bring the material for new armor and weapon variants.
