Hogwarts Legacy isn’t coming for Christmas after all! Not released until 2023
Those responsible for Avalanche and Warner Bros. Games have announced via Twitter that the release date of Hogwarts Legacy will be postponed to 2023.
To Marvel’s Midnight SunsGollum and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora there was recently the next postponement of a potential game highlight for the year 2022 within a few weeks. Those responsible for Avalanche and Warner Bros. Games explained via Twitter:
“Hogwarts legacy will be released on February 10, 2023 for PlayStation, Xbox and PC. The Nintendo Switch release date will be announced soon. The team can’t wait for you to finally play, but we need a little more time to offer the best possible gaming experience.“
No Christmas with Hogwarts Legacy
Everything was actually on course for the launch for the Christmas business. In March there was only the extensive gameplay reveal, with many details about the different areas of the open-world role-playing game. Then in July followed Leak of the Deluxe and Collector’s Editiondetailing in-game goodies and early access.
So we have to renew our Preview of upcoming gaming highlights for 2022 to adjust. Maybe you will find one or the other game there with which you can shorten the time until the release of Hogwarts Legacy. The author of these lines still has a whole range of titles to look forward to: Steelrising, WotLK Classic, Dragonflight, Soulstice, A Plague Tale: Requiem, The Callisto Protocol and God of War: Ragnarök, for example. What about with you?
