HyperX Armada 25 and 27: FHD and QHD monitors with brackets cost up to 600 euros
HP unveils the first monitors from its HyperX gaming peripherals division, introducing the Armada 25 and Armada 27. These are models with FHD or QHD IPS panels with refresh rates of 240 or 165 Hz. There are also two different mounts.
New monitors are expected to be available from HP in September. The manufacturer has now presented two new gaming monitors for its HyperX peripheral brand, both of which are said to be Nvidia G-Sync compatible. The two models are called Armada 25 and 27 and are also available in an all-in-one package, which also comes with an ergonomic monitor arm and a table mount. Both fasteners can also be purchased separately.
Specifications for the Armada 25
According to the manufacturer, the first gaming monitor Armada 25 offers a refresh rate of 240 Hz and the notorious 1 ms response time. The IPS panel measures 24.5 inches and is supposed to deliver a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The VRR range is between 48 and 240 Hz with a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a brightness of 400 cd/m², while the DCI-P3 color space covers 99 percent with a color depth of 8 bits. The monitor, weighing 2.9 kilograms, is also said to have an input for DisplayPort 1.4 and two inputs for HDMI 2.0.

Specifications for the Armada 27
Gaming monitor number two deviates from the specifications of the Armada 25 in certain areas. The IPS panel is slightly larger at 27 inches and the resolution is also sharper at 2560×1440 pixels. There is also a DisplayHDR 400 certification. However, the refresh rate of 165 Hz is lower than that of the Armada 25. According to the manufacturer, the response time is – as is so often the case – 1 ms. With regard to the other data, the Armada 25 and the Armada 27 are congruent. According to HP/HyperX, the two monitors and the two brackets should be commercially available in September. Please note that HyperX prices may change without notice and retail prices may vary.
