Pokémon GO starts Raid Day tomorrow with Mega Gyarados – Time, Bonuses and Shinys

On October 8, 2022, Raid Day starts in Pokémon GO with Mega Gyarados. We’ll show you all the details you need to know about the event. In addition, the time, bonuses and Shinys as well as tips for the maximum raid passes.

What’s the event? A raid day focuses on boss fights on Pokémon GO arenas. For a certain period of time, you will see significantly more raids on selected Pokémon that you can participate in. For these fights, Niantic gives you raid passes and there is also a bonus.

On October 8th, Mega Gyarados is the focus of the event and trainers have already shared tricks on how to increase the yield of free raid passes.

When does it start? The raid day starts on Saturday, October 8th at 14:00 local time. The event will then run for a few hours and end at 17:00 local time.

The bonuses: Niantic speaks of the following bonuses in the official blog post:

• You can get up to five additional Raid Passes for free by spinning arena photo discs.

• The chance of a Shiny Gyarados is increased.

This is the tip: You cannot further influence the shiny chances. However, trainers have already shared tips on how to get 8 Raid Passes instead of 5 on Raid Day with Mega Gyarados.
