Street Fighter 6: Closed Beta starts with problems

Activision Blizzard: Phil Spencer pleased with acquisition progress

The Street Fighter 6 closed beta starts today on Xbox Series X|S, Playstation 5 and PC, but not without problems.

The invitations for the closed beta for Street Fighter 6 were already sent out in the middle of this week. You can find out whether you are participating in your inbox or spam folder. If you haven’t received an email by now, you probably didn’t get one of the limited places.

The closed beta starts today on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. Until October 10, players can choose from eight characters and participate in Ranked Matches, Friendly Matches, Battle Hub Matches, Open Tournaments, or Practice Mode.

The beta also supports cross-play for cross-platform play.

However, the beta is not running smoothly. So there was already an emergency maintenance at around 2:25 p.m. This has now ended, but we still have problems going into the fight.

Capcom is already working to resolve the issue. Changing the server manually could give you a more stable connection in the meantime.
