WoW WotLK Classic: Hotfixes for Kel’Thuzad, Strand of the Ancients and Engineers
With a new hotfix for WotLK Classic, the WoW developers at Blizzard continue to refine the gaming experience in the revival of the popular expansion. This time it revolves around three different points: Raid, PvP and – again – the art of engineering.
Since September 27, 2022 we’ve been raging through the Wrath of the Lich King expansion – thanks to WoW Classic for the first time! But even the retro addon is not safe from some technical and game-mechanical problems. Accordingly, developers regularly fight bugs. New achievements can be found in the hotfix update on the night of October 11, 2022, which addresses an annoying phenomenon in the fight against Kel’Thuzad in Naxxramas, adjusts an engineering item, and fixes a curious issue in PvP.
WoW WotLK Classic: October 11, 2022 Hotfixes – Patch Notes
- Naxxramas: The developers have fixed an issue with Kel’Thuzad’s Frost Strike. Namely, he damaged the main tank with it, in addition to a random member of the raid. Frost Strike will now only hit the main tank if the primary target of the spell is near that tank, or if the main tank isn’t currently the most threatened target – i.e. not active as a main tank.
- Beach of the Ancients: Previously, Battlegrounds teams from the same faction could end up in the wrong graveyard when disguised as an opposing faction. This problem should no longer exist.
- Engineering : Fixed the issue that the Hyper Speed Accelerator could not be used in a macro with spells and abilities. There is a note from the developers: “Due to the nature of this fix, the effect of Hyper Speed Accelerator no longer has a partial cooldown with the on-use trinkets as it used to. At the moment this is known and intended, but we may try another adjustment in a future patch to fix the above macro issue that no longer allows this and reverts the cooldown of Engineer’s Glove effects and trinkets on use brings a common cooldown.
