Finally a new patch for Elden Ring: He changes that
With patch 1.07, From Software’s latest title Elden Ring recently received a fairly large balance update, with which the developers tried to solve the problem of balancing between PvP and PvE. Since the patch, these two game modes have been treated separately, so that a weapon that is too strong in PvP can only be weakened in this area. As a result, PvE players no longer suffer from such a nerf. The update also brought numerous adjustments for weapons, skills, and more.
New patch weakens strong PvP tactics in Elden Ring
With one change, From Software probably overshot the mark, because the studio has now released another patch in a hurry, which should fix the whole thing again. With Patch 1.07.1 the duration of the Ashes of War Endure was shortened, as players were probably just enduring a little too much. Or, as From Software writes, the ability’s buff “had a bigger impact on game balancing than expected.”
There was also a bug fix for the Incantation Inescapable Frenzy. The reduction in FP costs promised in patch 1.07 was probably not applied correctly, but this error should now be fixed with the new update. Furthermore, the patch notes for patch 1.07 have been adjusted because a few errors have crept in there. Originally it was written here that Flame of the Fell God and Gurranq’s Beast Claw can be charged, but this is simply not the case. The post has been adjusted accordingly.
Finally, the developers write that they are aware of the bug that causes Black Blade’s follow-up attack to fail when the spell is cast in the left hand. This error has not yet been fixed, but From Software promises a fix in a future update. Despite this, patch 1.07 was a step in the right direction for many players. The fact that From Software now also reacted quite quickly to the strength of Endure certainly gives hope that the PvP aspect of Elden Rings (buy now €53.98 / €53.99 ) has a bright future ahead.
