Diablo 4 developer reveals how long it will take to complete the game, GamersRD

We are all in the same sentiment about the long wait for the release of the highly anticipated Diablo 4 but at least (or so it seems) its release is scheduled for the next 2023.

This is according to the user Twitter Updates Lumiawho has a proven track record of scraping the back-end of the Xbox and Windows store to uncover sensitive internal data.

According to the user, the game is scheduled to launch on June 5 at 11pm, though Lumia notes that in some time zones this would mean a June 6 release.

The game, which will reportedly be 80GB in size on Xbox, will be released in a standard, digital deluxe, and ultimate edition.

Earlier this year, for the Windows Central website reported that the game would be released in April. This report received pushback from Diablo team members, however no firm date has been revealed.

A new trailer and release date announcement are expected at The Game Awards on Thursday. Diablo’s social media channels are currently running a “Lilith is coming” social media campaign which teases an upcoming announcement, expected this week.

Diablo 4 has been running several private betas, most of which have been for friends and family only. However, this hasn’t stopped much of the beta from streaming online.

As more information about the game has been released, the game director and associate game director have consistently emphasized that players will not be able to spend real money to upgrade their characters’ abilities.
