WoW: Storm Valdrakken with 300 dogs – fantastic bug discovered!
A new expansion, a new bug that allows for an army of NPCs: with this trick, a huge pack of dog-like Jagdbakar has been a breeze for Rextroy. What happens if he attacks other players with it?
No one thinks WoW is bug free. And nobody thinks that WoW: Dragonflight is free of really weird bugs. And yet it’s funny how particular bugs in the Blizzard MMORPG’s code can still make us laugh. The latest example from bug expert Rextroy sheds light on this again. Namely, he found a way to recruit a small army of dog-like Bakar. For this he only has a paladin spell and the quest Member of the Pack second hand.
300 Bakar in WoW: Dragonflight: How does the bug work?
Actually, there is a debuff in the quest that prevents you from calling more cuddly companions. But the trick is very simple: With god shield you are also protected against this debuff and can call dogs to your side to your heart’s content. Rextroy creates an army of 300 Jagdbakar like this:
More about Rextroy: This is how the bug expert distributed one-shots in the arena
On the one hand, the animals cause completely negligible damage – 1-2 points per attack. But they use a taunt spell, so they pull aggro entirely. And the morale effect on opposing players who don’t know they’re not going to take much harm isn’t to be scoffed at either! When they visit the capital, Valdrakken, Rextroy and his friends mostly get amused comments – it’s by no means a powerful exploit.
This is how you get a Bakar as normal
Incidentally, if you have reached fame level 9 with the Maruuk centaurs with one of your characters, you can make the Dragon Islands unsafe with a Bakar hunt companion. This one even has the passive effect of sometimes executing enemies that are down to 20 percent health with one attack!.
