MW2 could finally be presented soon, which at least teases a picture of Ghost.

This year’s Call of Duty-Offshoot is currently in development at Infinity Ward and will be the sequel to Modern Warfare from 2019, so much is known. The development team hasn’t shown much more about the game so far, we only know that it should be the most ambitious project in the series.

That could change soon, however, because Infinity Ward has now adjusted its Twitter page and is thus possibly teasing out an imminent reveal.

CoD hides Ghost on Twitter page

The official Twitter page by developer Infinity Ward looks rather unspectacular at first glance after the team swapped out their profile picture and header with what appeared to be a black image.

Appearances are deceptive: However, if you brighten the header image accordingly, it becomes apparent that there is actually an image hidden in it. Hidden behind a staircase, it features a character that many CoD fans will be all too familiar with: Ghost, who made his debut in the original 2009 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The developer’s Instagram page has also been updated and no longer contains any posts. (via CharlieIntel)

The assumption is that Ghost will also play an important role in the reboot, which is rumored to revolve around the fight against Colombian drug cartels and will confront us with brutal realism. In addition, some of the most popular multiplayer maps are said to be returning.

MW2 reveal soon?

So far, the CoD makers have not given any information as to when a reveal should come. leakers RalphsValve had at least indicated that there should be new information on April 30th, even if a big reveal is still planned for May, so we have to wait and see.

What do you think of the ghost teaser?
