Vodafone’s TV and radio frequencies are being unified. A new station search run may therefore be necessary for users.
News
TV viewers and specialist retailers have work to do again. From August, Vodafone will harmonize the TV frequencies of the fiber optic network throughout Germany. There are regional differences here.
Numerous TV and radio stations are thus given a new frequency, which requires a new search run with the appropriate devices. The aim is “greater design freedom for more performance and higher data rates”.
The adaptation will be spread over several months until April 2023, with the receiving locations being restructured in one go. In the Bavarian town of Landshut, Vodafone is already switching over on the night of June 8th.
