Nintendo Direct in June 2022: Fake Leak inspires Switch players
For Nintendo fans, Switch players (and gamers in general), it usually stands most exciting phase of the year finally on: the June with the games fair E3 in Los Angeles! But this time is different: The E3 has been canceled entirely – not even a digital version takes place, like last year. Nevertheless, players can play with many in the coming weeks exciting announcements count, because the place of the E3, among other things, is the Summer Game Fest. However, Nintendo is not (yet) officially involved. Is there going to be a big Nintendo Direct anytime soon? Quite possible! On Twitter, meanwhile, makes an extremely humorous fake leak the round.
Nintendo Direct 2022 mid-June?
Twitter user @little_paisano shared a blurry image Tuesday afternoon with what he believed to be information about the upcoming Games featured on Nintendo Direct.
According to this “leak”, the presentation should be on Tuesday June 14, 2022 occur. That would even fit in time – last year Nintendo actually showed a big E3 Direct on Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
Fake leak thrills Nintendo fans
However, this “leak” is one obvious fake, the Twitter user also makes no secret of this. This becomes clear to the listed games, which are supposed to be shown in the Direct.
“Bowser’s crucifixion LIVE” can be read there, for example, as well as “the case of the Iberian government”, along with credible switch games such as ARMS 2, Splatoon 3 and the second wave of new DLC tracks for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
The Twitter user’s fake leak apparently takes the many leaked on the shovel, who actually want to know about new Nintendo Directs on a regular basis – but mostly be completely wrong.

Direct with Mario Kart, Zelda and Metroid?
In fact, Nintendo might too without E3 a new large Direct in mid-June publish. Usually the company announces a presentation a day or two in advance. Should a direct actually take place on the day of the usual “E3 Tuesday”, i.e. on June 14, 2022, would be with one Announcement on Sunday or Monday to expect before.
If this is the case, some games can be expected that have already been announced, some of which have already been released or will be released shortly. These include Mario Strikers Battle League Football, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Splatoon 3, Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Pokémon Crimson & Crimson, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp and Metroid Prime 4.
Furthermore, should then also with whole fresh new announcements for the Switch to be reckoned with, like a new one Donkey Kong or Star Fox, the next DLC tracks for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, new content for Nintendo Switch Sports, Super Mario Odyssey 2, a reissue of Metroid Prime Trilogy, remakes of Zelda: Wind Waker and Zelda: Twilight Princess or the announcement of Game Boy games for Nintendo Switch (buy now €359.90) On-line.
