When we launch Not ceased Last November, we weren’t sure about the reaction of the players. After almost 10 months, I think we can now safely say that it has been a success. Yes, there have been few obstacles along the way, but overall, the player feedback exceeded our expectations and gave us a solid foundation on which to build a strategy for the future on Xbox.
We’ve been working really hard to build a stronger backend for the game that will allow us to support some great content and features in the coming months. In the future, we are confident that patches will be more frequent and enriching. When you read this or very soon after, we will release a new patch on Xbox One, which will contain a lot of optimizations, and after that it will be time for the first additional map on the console, dear Elver!
Elver’s Map will be the first DLC content for Not ceased on Xbox One and will arrive shortly in September. Any server configured in Elver will be accessible to all players (using a password for private servers), you will need to buy the map only if you want to play locally (single player or split screen) or if you want to create your own server configured in Elver. But anyone can join a friend on an existing server configured in Elver.
After Elver, the next big thing for Not ceased will be the launch of the optimized version of Xbox Series X | S. Our goal is the end of the year for the launch, which will be supported through Smart Delivery for all owners of Not ceased Xbox One. The Xbox Series X Launch | S is a way of showing you that we are committed to continuing to support the game through Gen 9, and next year there will be plenty of surprises for all survivors! The optimized version of Xbox Series X | S by Unturned will harness the power of next-gen consoles to function Not ceased with 4k resolution support with 60fps gameplay.
