Weapon selection is one of the most important decisions in Call of Duty: Vanguard multiplayer. MeinMMO therefore regularly looks around for you which are considered the best weapons and attach great importance to easy playability.

Where does the weapon information come from? In order to provide you with the best weapons, we at MeinMMO regularly check the latest trends from the players, look at analyzes and season the whole thing with a portion of our own experience.

Every player perceives the weapons differently and some suit the individual better, sometimes worse. We therefore attach great importance to easy playability and good handling in our list. We also show alternatives that often deliver better damage, but come with certain disadvantages when it comes to handling.

The best weapons by weapon class in the CoD: Vanguard

Is there a surgical weapon in Vanguard? Shortly after the release, there are a ton of OP options in the game. On the one hand this is due to the strong ammunition conversions with which you can kill enemies with 2 headshots and on the other hand to the skill attachment “Vital”.

“Vital” ensures that you also cause headshot damage to a weapon in the chest area. So you only need 2 chest shots for a kill, which means that the time-to-kill of the Type 100 or the STG44 drops to less than 100 milliseconds.

The combat shotgun is also far too powerful and takes down enemies up to 7 meters with a small load of shot. Whether “Vital” or the shotgun – there will certainly be weaknesses here soon.

STG44 – The best assault rifle in Vanguard

Although the starter weapon MP40 is also very popular, you should switch to the Type 100 as soon as it is available to you. The mixture of “Vital” and the heavy magazine is overwhelming.

Grab the setup and riot a little – the mixture of the attachments “Sawed off”, “Caliber 16” and “Stronger propellant” lets you land one-shot kills up to 7 meters. You only have to hit your enemies minimally with a small pellet.

Here, too, we cannot currently suggest any alternative. The setup of the combat gun is over the top and a nerf is sure to come for it.

DP27 – The best LMG in Vanguard

If you like to play with light machine guns and can ignore the disadvantages of the Movement, you will get a very powerful and fun weapon here. 4 shots are enough for a kill and it doesn’t matter where the hits hit the opponent. If you catch a headshot, you only need 3 shots.

What makes the STV40 strong? It sounds weird – but right now the STV40 is the most powerful sniper rifle in Vanguard if you want high damage. With the setup you are very slowly in your sights, but as long as you don’t catch the limbs of your enemy, the enemy lies. The distance to the enemy is also irrelevant.

What makes the Kar98k strong? As in the Battle Royale Warzone, the Kar 98k also cleans up in Vanguard. In multiplayer you kill enemies with a headshot or a hit in the chest. The setup optimizes the time in sight and is suitable for quickscoping.

The sniper rifle offers the optimal compromise between speed and damage – the other two sniper rifles are either more deadly, but very lame (three-line rifle) or faster, but with little damage (Type 99).

There are currently many options in multiplayer that are far too strong for a good balance. However, if the developers proceed similarly to the Battle Royale Warzone, then you can expect some nerfs in the game and many weapon adjustments in the near future. So far, however, there have been no balance changes since the release.
