Ratzeburg rowing boarders dominate Möllner long distance

The results are impressive, but there is still room for improvement in terms of times. “Comparing the long distance test in Berlin is difficult, but the boys could have been a little faster,” said Markus Last, trainer at the Ratzeburg rowing boarding school, after the long distance test over six kilometers on the Elbe-Lübeck Canal at Möllner RC.

Ratzeburg boarders on the first places

In the junior twos (17 to 18 years old) Teo Tassa (Ratzeburger RC) and Till Neumann (Schleswig) prevailed in 23:45 minutes with ten seconds ahead, and Leonhard Tanneberg (Lübeck RK) also won the one just as clearly in 23 : 33 (45 seconds ahead of the runner-up) like Oscar Krause (Ratzeburger RC) in the 15- to 16-year-olds in 24:53.

In winter you can continue on the ergometer

After Mölln, the boarders will have to take part in ergometer competitions before the spring long distance is scheduled in Leipzig at the end of March. “By then we should and want to have caught up with the nationwide competition,” explains Last. “Even if my colleague was expecting even better times, the overall performance was very satisfactory. And a 23:33 like Leo Tanneberg a B-Junior first has to row against the clock alone in a competition ”, said national coach Björn Lötsch.
