Daybreak Game Company: Developer of DC Universe Online is working on a Marvel MMO

As part of a Investor Conference the people in charge of Daybreak Games have quietly announced the development of an online role-playing game from the Marvel universe. The project that the Dimensional Ink team is currently working on was listed in the presentation by the holding company Enad Global 7. The studio from Austin in the US state of Texas is responsible for DC Universe Online, among other things. Jack Emmert, who is currently managing director of DC Universe Online, will head the previously unannounced Marvel MMO.

However, details about the Marvel MMO such as possible systems are not yet available. However, Daybreak Games lists the game as a “long-term project”. Fans shouldn’t expect the title until 2023. Dimensional Ink continues to take care of DC Universe Online. A major update is planned for 2023, which will be the largest expansion of the game. A graphics upgrade is also imminent. Only this year, developer Netmarble published Marvel Future Revolution, an MMORPG on the superhero brand for iOS and Android.
