Pokémon GO: Today spotlight hour with Tanhel, starts at noon

Pokémon GO has a spotlight lesson with Tanhel today, November 29th. We’ll show you when it starts and for whom the event is worthwhile.

What kind of event is that? Towards the end of the joke season, Pokémon GO launched a series of spotlight hours that run earlier than usual. Today, November 29th, the last “early” spotlight hour starts.

We’ll show you what to expect today and how events will continue in Pokémon GO.

Spotlight Lesson with Tanhel – Time and Shiny

When does it start? The early spotlight hour starts at 12:00 p.m. local time. It is then active as usual for an hour and then ends at 1:00 p.m.

What bonuses are there? You will encounter Tanhel more often anywhere in the wild. If you light a smoke, Tanhel will be attracted by it. However, only during the time of the event.

Companion bonuses for candy, dust, or XP, as known from other limelight hours, do not exist with these early versions. Only the Spotlight Pokémon appears more frequently.

Can you catch shiny tanhel? Yes, with luck you can find Shiny Tanhel at the spotlight lesson today. Tanhel’s dazzling shape has been in the game since its Community Day in 2018.

Is it worth taking the spotlight lesson with Tanhel?

This is how strong it is: Tanhel evolves into Metang and finally Metagross. If you follow our counter-guides here on MeinMMO, you will know that Metagross is an important Pokémon. In raids, Metagross is one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO – As a steel attacker, it is ideal against ice, rocks and fairy.

If you like to take part in raids and you lack strong attackers, then the limelight lesson with Tanhel today is the ideal opportunity to find strong Tanhel and collect candy in order to finally bring strong Metagross into your team.

In PvP, Metagross can score in the master league. There are even stronger Pokémon there, but Metagross is also a solid attacker there.

So you have two important reasons to attend the Spotlight Lesson today. Even if there are no bonuses to stardust, candy or XP for that particular event.

What’s next with Pokémon GO? The trainers are eagerly waiting for Niantic to announce the events for December 2021 on Pokémon GO. But we already know about an important event: Community Day in December 2021 will be huge. There you will find the Pokémon from the last Community Days in the wild and in eggs.
