Halo Infinite Community is annoyed by cheaters and calls for an end to the compulsory crossplay
The Halo Infinite multiplayer is already cheating.
The Halo Infinite multiplayer beta has only been running for a few days, but there are already a few cheaters in the game. The problem is already so big that the Xbox community is finally calling for a way to completely deactivate crossplay with the PC or to make a setting option available for the input method for all playlists. Apparently, there are significantly fewer cheaters to be found on the console, so far crossplay is mandatory in Halo Infinite.

Cheats are offered on the net: The Twitter channel Anti-Cheat Police Department did a little research and found a dozen online stores that sell scam software for Halo Infinite. From infinite ammunition to wall hacks and aimbots, everything is included. For just eight dollars you can spoil the fun for many other players for a day.
According to The Verge, 343 Industries does not use third party software to avoid cheats. Instead, the servers look for suspicious behavior and kick corresponding users out of the game. The system doesn’t seem to be working particularly well at the moment. The studio is working on solutions, but does not want to be looked at at this point in time.
No reporting function in the game: Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to report cheaters in Halo Infinite. If you want to do that, you have to go to the website HaloWaypoint visit and create a ticket. This is of course time consuming and not an ideal solution.

Changes required, especially for ranked matches
Fraudsters are particularly annoying in ranked matches, which are all about pure skill. Here everyone starts with the same weapon, the motion sensor is deactivated, friendly fire activated and hit markers from grenades are not possible. The difference between mouse / keyboard and controller is less important here, because we are matched based on our skills. There is a setting option for the input option (mouse and keyboard or controller), but so far this only applies to solo / duo fire teams. Anyone who is in a group with three, four or even more participants will inevitably be thrown together with all input options.
