CoD Warzone shows first trailer and 21 pictures of the map Caldera – “Won’t leave my house anymore”
On December 8th, the new Call of Duty: Warzone map finally starts – the island paradise “Caldera”. Now you can see the first trailer and over 20 new pictures. MeinMMO shows you the new perspective and catches the first reactions.
After a small postponement, the new map of the free Battle Royale Call of Duty: Warzone will come on December 8th. Now there is the first trailer published on YouTube by PlayStation:

What else is there to see from the new map? A few hours before the trailer, an overview map of the new map came on Twitter:

How big is the map? The overview map now made it possible to compare the two maps Caldera and Verdansk in a comprehensible manner. On reddit you can find a map with superimposed maps in a size comparison:

How is it all being received? There are almost only positive reactions to the new map and the trailer. The colorful menu reminds some of Far Cry in a positive way and the trailer’s airline humor is very well received.

However, some players complain that there are still no firm statements about the field of view settings on the consoles and the versions of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
With the introduction of the new map, Warzone gets the Vanguard graphics and the latest CoD has the field of view controller on the consoles and a next-gen version. Warzone fans want clear statements here.
Another frequently asked question – “Can you swim on the caldera?” And although the water is not quite as deadly as in Verdansk: Swimming is not yet possible, but you can then run in shallow water and even get the effects of the perk “Cold Blood” if you duck down.
