In Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, even tough men will be able to dress up as tender maids

The Endwalker addon is just around the corner in Final Fantasy XIV. In addition to the numerous content updates, there is also a small but nice feature that many gamers are happy about. The gender lock is lifted for several items of clothing.

This is what it’s about: On December 3rd at 10:00 am, the FFXIV servers will go online and the Early Access des neuen Addons Endwalker. This brings a huge amount of content, which players can now read in the detailed patch notes.

One or the other player was particularly pleased with a small change. In the notes it is announced that a number of equipment items with Endwalker will lose their gender lock.

A total of 31 items can be worn by both sexes from December 3rd. There are pretty dresses like the maid outfit for men, but also chic jackets like the butler outfit for the ladies.

Breaking the gender lock on clothing is an old topic in FFXIV. There is always in the official forums and on social media requests to the MMORPG’s development team to remove the lock. With the add-on Endwalker this wish of the players is fulfilled.

Accordingly, between all the posts to celebrate Endwalker and the farewell to Shadowbringers, there were also a few posts that were happy about the abolition of the gender lock.
